We’re excited to share some upcoming changes to SignTime that will make your workflow even faster and more intuitive—without sacrificing the beautiful simplicity you’ve come to expect from us.

AI-Powered Compliance for Electronic Bookkeeping (Denchō)

First, we’re introducing AI automation to support compliance with Japan’s Electronic Bookkeeping Act (電子帳簿保存法). Our system will now automatically extract the required compliance fields (counterparty, amount, start date and end date)—so all you need to do is review and confirm. Please note: You can also set an alert immediately after the end date, and we recommend doing that-it’s one more way we’re helping you drive business success while staying compliant with less effort.

A New Interface, Focused on What’s Next

Since day one, SignTime has been built to be the fastest, easiest way to get documents signed. Many of you have told us, “It just works—no manual needed.”

We’re keeping that simplicity—and taking it a step further.

Our updated home interface will shift the focus from past activity to what needs to happen next. Instead of showing a list of completed tasks, you’ll now see clear, actionable prompts like:

• “Signature required”
• “Complete this template”
• and soon: “This contract auto-renews in 60 days. Do you want to let it renew or terminate it?”

These updates are the beginning of a more proactive, agent-driven SignTime experience.

Built for Speed, Powered by AI

Everything we’re doing aligns with our vision: to make SignTime the fastest, easiest way to close deals and manage agreements. By combining intuitive design with agentic AI, we’re helping you move from reaction to action—with confidence.

As always, SignTime plans are based on usage (not per-user pricing), with a clear monthly or annual rate that includes a set number of documents. Additional usage—like SMS delivery, PAdES signatures, or high-volume activity—is transparently billed only as needed. All plans include a minimum one-year contract.

Application Updates:

In this update, we’ve added new features in response to user feedback—particularly around strengthening security and increasing flexibility when working with input fields.

・IP Address Restriction
We’ve introduced a feature that allows access to SignTime only from specific IP addresses designated by the group owner.
This enables organizations to limit access to internal networks and build a more robust security environment.
This feature is available for customers on the Prime plan or higher.

・Font Color Customization
While this is perhaps not business critical, you can now freely change the font color of input text in signature fields and text fields.
This allows for better visibility and emphasis of important information, enabling more flexible document creation.
